Excellent Chinese buffet. Variety of food and fresh! Went passed this place many times and decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. They also have a variety of sushi which I would not try, but if you like sushi it looked great! Also they have a hibachi grill to order from. I will definitely be back.

Food is good enough for a buffet, buffet table was full, good variety service on the other hand, needs some work, I asked for the washroom’s location and was told to “go look for the signs” funny but still inappropriate, also my friend’s son asked for a water refill, since it was taking a while because it was really busy I got up to go get it and the guy got really upset and said I’m getting it while pointing at the pitcher, I just said I’m sorry but we really need it right now... Maybe I’m just oversensitive.

I ordered Shrimp Egg Fu Young yesterday. I have to say it was the best I have ever had. The shrimp was larger than expected and the egg were light and fluffy. Terrific meal.

Sushi and hibachi is where it is at. The other buffet items are standard Chinese buffet items and quality. The servers are quick to refill and clear plates and are very friendly.

Superb atmosphere and very amiable service. The meals were crisp and enchanting. Will absolutely recommend this place to my friends. Convenient rates and big portions. Keep up the great work.

Very high quality buffet. Fresh, delicious food brought out in smaller quantities so replenished fresh often. Freshly made sushi. Hibachi station making meals on demand. Clean. Reasonably priced for the quality & quantity of choices.

Once we were seated, we never saw a server or waitress our waters never were refilled. Food was good but shouldn't have to hunt down somebody for water.

I was very surprised to see a good quality hibachi grill for a decent price. Good buffet selection with some seafood, mainly shrimps. Good sushi as well.

This place is always very enjoyable. The staff there is always nice and willing to go above and beyond to make your experience there a good one. The grill there is delicious make sure you tip the chef. If my wife would let me I would eat here every night. They should consider getting a liquor license though.

Always very good. I can't complain about anything here. It's also a good place to come eat if you don't have a taste for anything in particular.

An awkward experience doing the buffet thing during a pandemic. Food was average but the pot stickers and baked clams were excellent. Sushi did the trick too.

Great food! I'm almost a regular at China House. Always a great experience until today. When me and my girlfriend were getting into my car and a lady comes out accusing me of not paying. That was pretty ridiculous! I will be finding a new place to go to after this. I have never walked out of a place before paying and tipping nicely. Lost a loyal customer after that.

Food is ok okay, nothing to brag about as typical buffet style I guess. Decent selection, decent pricing

My kids absolutely love this place. They call it the Fishy Place because of the salt water tank behind the counter. My husband and I enjoy the Hibachi grill, and I like the sushi. It works well for our family because it is affordable and there is something for all of us.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and it is more than reasonably priced. The staff are great and the restaurant is clean and organized.

Good food, great variety, prices are very fair too. Been there multiple times, never disappointed, always received great service. It was always clean, friendly, mellow music playing on the background. It is always on top of our list of places to go. Just may I give one suggestion, or rather request? Can you please mark your food somehow as spicy, mild, or medium accordingly? I've had couple accidents there when I'm trying something and it's too spicy :)

I don't come here as often as I would like but it is always great every time I do visit. This is one of the few restaurants that is consistent with their quality. There is always fresh food out and there is a large variety of dishes. There is something for anyone, no matter how picky. Plus they have lots of fruit, desserts, and ice cream.

Hands down best all you can eat sushi, I had what would cost at sushi places $40 for the lunch buffet price. You cannot beat that! The fruit was also fantastic and the noodles were amazing. Great value and food, the best Asian buffet I've ever been to and I know my way around the block.

Place is clean but food was cold and awful. Appears to be an American take on Chinese food.. find a real Chinese restaurant if you want good food.

Lots of choices. Even some Italian for those who are not big fans of Chinese. Buffet was well stocked and social distancing was being emphasized.

For $12 a person for a dinner buffet you cannot beat it. Tasty hot options, comfortable environment. Definitely will be back. The sushi selection could be a little bit larger. Overall very pleased for the price.

😁 We're from out of town and eating here felt like cheating the system! SO many great sushi 🍣 options included with the already amazing buffet. Kids loved it too! We'd come back to DeKalb just to eat here again!

I forgot to take the pictures....All you can eat is affordable and worth it. You just need to pay less than $10 n you can anything you want. You have chicken, beef, shrimp, and beacon.

Pretty decent buffet for the DeKalb/Sycamore area. The restaurant was clean, the servers were friendly and there was a wide variety of food at the buffet, including fresh sushi. The only thing that could improve this buffet would be to have a few more Chinese dishes on the buffet that are out of the norm instead of American dishes. Chicken and Snow Peas would be a great addition! Also, crab legs would be nice, as well!

food selection is awsome....fresh food and always hot....never cold with this buffet style...we love coming out here to eat!

You know Iv had better Chinese food, but you cannot beat the prices and selection here. For being in the middle of corn country they do a damn good job. Well done will return no doubt.

I love the honey chicken. Other than that it is a midwest buffet. A few gems here and there. They have a wok station that NEEDS training (NOT EVERYTHING COOKS AT THE SAME RATE. BASIC COOKING) sorry for yelling, but food is being wasted because it comes out inedible...

Decent food , lunch prices are reasonable.

Went right at open. Food was hot, ready, and quite tasty. Had to ask a couple times for my husband's iced tea, but otherwise was a great outing. Food was very accommodating for my younger kids, so everyone left full. Will be back again.

It’s a good buffet, but in any given day it’s the same dishes of food daily. It needs to change some food items that are on regular menu? Szechuan dishes, Magolian beef, twice cooked pork, add more of a variety instead of the same dishes day after day. My favorite is the Hibachi grill. This Hispanic man does a wonderful job!!! He’s my favorite cook there.Update 6/5/2020ALL WRONG!! SHOULD OF CHECKED BEFORE I LEFT.....Ordered hibachi asked for white rice got pork fried rice....SALTY.....Worst meal ever!!! Don’t think it was made at the hibachi station.....not the same vegetables could smell the fried “ fish” . Food was not grilled.....also a better idea would be to let the customer pick his own hibachi and then go and wait in car and they can take to you. They are better off closed until they can resume full operation.....WOULD MOST DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND CHINA HOUSE AT THIS POINT!!! LITERALLY DISAPPOINTED WONT GO BACK UNTIL ITS TO REGULAR OPERATION.....
